Push Notifications Not Working

Fixing Missing Notifications

Not getting game reminders, connection alerts, or message notifications? There are several settings that control notifications on your device. Let's check them all.

Step 1: Check iOS Notification Settings

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap Notifications.
  3. Find and tap Crowdr.
  4. Make sure Allow Notifications is turned ON.
  5. Ensure Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners are all enabled.

Step 2: Check In-App Notification Settings

  1. Open Crowdr and go to Settings.
  2. Look for the notification toggles.
  3. Make sure the notifications you want are enabled (game reminders, connection alerts, messages, etc.).

Step 3: Check Focus and Do Not Disturb

Your device might be silencing notifications:

  • Do Not Disturb — check the Control Center (swipe down from the top-right corner) to make sure the crescent moon icon is not active.
  • Focus modes — if you use a Focus mode, make sure Crowdr is added as an allowed app. Go to Settings > Focus and check your active Focus profile.

Step 4: Check Your Internet Connection

Push notifications require an active internet connection. Make sure you're connected to WiFi or cellular data.

Step 5: Re-register Your Notification Token

Sometimes the connection between your device and our notification service needs a refresh:

  1. Force close Crowdr (swipe up in the app switcher).
  2. Reopen the app.
  3. This automatically re-registers your device for push notifications.

Game Reminders Specifically

Game reminders have their own toggle. On the Home screen, look for the "Notify Me" toggle near the game schedule. Make sure it's enabled if you want to be reminded before games start.
