Voting and Results
After every chat round in a Crowdr game, you'll cast a vote on your conversation partner. When you and another person both vote YES, it's a connection. Here's how the entire voting process works.
Voting After Each Round
At the end of every 40-second chat, the app moves you to the voting screen. You have 10 seconds to make your decision:
- YES -- You're interested and would like to connect with this person.
- NO -- You'd prefer not to connect further.
Your vote is completely private. The other person will never know which way you voted unless it becomes a mutual connection.
Vote Limits by Plan
Your subscription tier determines how many YES votes you can cast per round:

With a free account, you can vote YES on 1 partner per round. Premium subscribers get 2 YES votes per round, giving you more flexibility to express interest.
The Reveal Phase
After all 5 rounds of chat and voting are complete, there's one final stage: the reveal phase. This is a 15-second window where you can:
- Review all 5 of your conversation partners at once.
- Cast any votes you haven't made yet.
- Change a previous vote if you've had a change of heart.
The reveal phase is your last chance to finalize your choices before results are calculated. Use it wisely!
How Connections Are Created
Connecting is simple: if both you and another person vote YES for each other, it's a connection. This is called a mutual vote.
- One-sided YES votes do not create a connection.
- NO votes are never revealed to the other person.
- Connections are calculated after the reveal phase ends.
The Results Screen
Once voting is finalized, you'll see the results screen, which shows:
- Your new connections -- highlighted with a confetti celebration animation.
- A summary of how the game went.
If you didn't get any connections this time, don't worry. Every game is a fresh start with new people, and your next session could be the one.
What Happens Next
Your new connections instantly appear in the Messages tab. You can:
- Start chatting right away with no time limits.
- View their full profile to learn more about them.
- Pick up where you left off -- messages from the game round are saved in the conversation.
Tips for Voting
- Trust your instincts -- 40 seconds is enough to get a genuine feel for someone. Go with your gut.
- Vote YES if you're curious -- you don't need to be 100% sure. A connection just means you'll get to keep talking.
- Use the reveal phase -- don't rush through it. Take the full 15 seconds to review your options.
- Don't take it personally -- not every conversation will be a connection, and that's completely normal. The right connections will come.
